The Northern Black Forest Tourism GmbH and its sustainable partner businesses were first awarded the title of Sustainable Destination in February 2016 by the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection in cooperation with the renowned certification company Tour Cert.

Regional at the Nature park hosts enjoy, in the specially classified Thermal baths relax or with the E-Mobile Take a climate-neutral "jog trip" – officially certified as a "Sustainable Destination", the Northern Black Forest offers many options for guests who want to be mindful of their ecological footprint even on vacation.
