Museum in the Maria Reuthin Monastery
The former monastery grounds surrounding the museum are already special: a Dominican convent since 1252, with holdings in Oberjettingen and Monhardt. It was founded by Burkhardt IV of Hohenberg. The monastery was plundered during the Peasants' War of 1525. Wildberg It has been Protestant since 1570. Although the monastery church and the main building were destroyed by a major fire in 1824, the remaining buildings—the granary, the dairy barn, and other buildings and building remnants—still give an idea of the former complex. A monastery garden is also lovingly maintained.
