Kurhaus stop
The Kurhaus bus stop, established in December 1999, is located at the roadside of the Kurhaus forecourt and offers direct access to the inner-city spa park. Furthermore, the shops along the Kurpromenade (spa promenade) and the Hotel am Kurpark can be reached via this stop. Due to timetable constraints, the service on line 244 was discontinued on June 14, 2015, following the opening of the new Freibad (outdoor swimming pool) stop. As part of the renovation of the Kurpromenade for the 2017 State Garden Show, the bus stop was redesigned as a raised platform with Kassel-style curbs and tactile paving for the visually impaired. The stop was reinstated on line 244 in conjunction with the State Garden Show.
