The hike begins at Petershöhe, offering panoramic views stretching as far as the Swabian Alps. The route is characterized by long, expansive stretches of forest, brimming with tranquility and seclusion. You'll be accompanied almost exclusively by birdsong and the rustling of the trees. When the sun's rays peek through the canopy, the hike transforms into a relaxing forest bathing session. Here, you can let your thoughts wander and simply enjoy nature.

Another viewpoint is the viewpoint at Hornberger Höhe, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view as far as the Swabian Alb. This spot is also ideal for a light snack.

The route continues to Hornberg Castle (a forest school), before a zigzag path leads to the Baiermühle mill. The Zwerchbach valley is initially lined with meadows before you descend back into the deep forest.
