    The NagoldThe valley cycle path begins in the municipality of Seewald. Urnagold, a district of Seewald-Besenfeld in the Black Forest, you will find the source of the Nagold.

    After the river Nagoldreservoir ore mine has flowed through it, it leads through Altensteig, past trout ponds to the historic old town backdrop

    with the only undamaged medieval castle in the Black Forest.

    The route continues past a historic raftsmen's lodge to large district town Nagold with impressive ruins and a vibrant city center.

    From Shepherd's Town Wildberg The route leads to the picturesque Seitzental valley, which lies within the city limits. Neubulach lies, and further on, past the Waldeck castle ruins, to the Teinach station, then into the Hermann Hesse City CalwThe next rest stop can be found in the historical monastery complex of Hirsau insert before embarking on a dreamlike stretch of Bad Liebenzell, where the spa park and thermal baths beckon, leads via Unterreichenbach to the destination city of Pforzheim.

    Section 1 - From the origin to after Altensteig

    We start our joint tour in Besenfeld-Urnagold am NagoldOrigin. The gravel path leads uphill to the B294. From the information board, we always follow the signs and the intermediate waymarkers of the NagoldValley cycle path. We cross the B294 and keep left at the next fork. The gravel path climbs gently uphill to the Besenfeld industrial road. On the industrial road, we turn right onto the B294. After 400 m, we turn left onto the UrnagoldThe road. It's a gentle downhill slope until kilometer 2,2. Here, we turn left downhill at the fountain and continue following the cycle path. Keep left at the fork. The Mühlenweg (Mill Path) leads past the youth hostel. At kilometer 2,85, at the fork, continue downhill to the left. The route continues along the Kuhlbach stream. This flows into the [unclear text] at kilometer 3,9. Nagold which we continue to follow towards Schorrental. The gravel path becomes Schorrental Straße. Passing the Gasthaus Forelle, we join the NagoldTalstraße. We follow this road through the sawmill to kilometer 5,2. Here we turn left towards Göttelfingen. Behind the sawmill, the road continues uphill to kilometer 5,8. We leave the road and continue on the forest path towards Erzgrube. After 3,2 kilometers, the forest path joins Erzgruber Straße, where we turn right. Follow the road to the roundabout. Take the second exit from the roundabout. After 200 meters, turn left onto Seestraße and follow the cycle path along Erzgrube. Please observe the safety instructions posted here and be mindful of other visitors. NagoldDam. Passing the intermediate dam of the two lakes, continue to the main dam wall. After a short break at the information panels, continue downhill. Take care regarding the closed barriers at the waterworks below. Cross the L362 slightly to the right and continue on the paved cycle path to the Pfaffenstube. Turn right at the L362 and follow the road until... AltensteigAt kilometer 23, at the sports field, turn left and then keep right. Jahnstraße merges into Karlstraße, which we follow downhill. Before the bridge, turn left onto Rosenstraße. The route leads through the beautiful old town. AltensteigContinue along Bahnhofstraße until you reach the roundabout at the edge of town.

    Section 2 - From Altensteig to Nagold

    Follow the cycle path on the left and keep left at km 26,5. Continue through the right-hand bend on the L348 towards Wart. The cycle path branches off to the right at km 27,2. Passing the Monhardt waterworks, continue straight ahead on the cycle path until you reach Ebhausen. Please pay attention to the junctions in Ebhausen where the cycle path crosses. Visibility is poor in some places. NagoldWe cycle through Ebhausen on the valley cycle path. At km 32,9, we cross the road and continue to the right towards... NagoldWe're entering Rohrdorf. There's a dangerous junction at kilometer 33,8! Continue straight ahead. At kilometer 37,1, the Nadoldtal cycle path joins the parking lot at the entrance to the village. NagoldWe continue on the left side of the parking lot towards Kleeb. Passing the outdoor swimming pool, we turn right immediately after and then take the next left. At the statue, we cross the bridge on the right and then keep left. We continue on the road "Unterm Wehr". At kilometer 38,4, the road makes a right-left bend and becomes Neuwiesenweg. After about 200 meters, we turn left and pass the sports field, then turn left again. We cross the bridge and keep to the right. We leave the road at the construction yard and campervan site. Nagold and enjoy the route along the flowering meadows.

    Section 3 - From Nagold to Calw

    At kilometer 41,4, turn right and go under an underpass. Please pay attention to the lane markings! After another 1,5 km, turn right and... Nagold Cross the wooden bridge. Turn left uphill. Please pay attention to the traffic lanes! The cycle path joins Mühlhalden Straße. After 200 meters downhill, keep right. Continue along the... Nagold through the idyllic valley to km 48,6. Here we drive into WildbergAt the monastery and campervan site, we turn right and continue on Klosterstraße (Monastery Street). On the right-hand side... Nagold We continue to kilometer 49,7 and then cross it again via a wooden bridge. After the bridge, keep right. Turn left onto the road ahead and then right onto the B463 (Valley Road). After 150 meters, turn left onto Valley Road (L349). At the train station, turn right and cross the tracks on the "Saronweg" road. After the tracks, keep right. Follow the path straight ahead. At kilometer 51,3, after the underpass, keep left and follow Kengelweg. Follow the cycle path for 2,5 kilometers and then keep right at the fork. In Seitzental, keep right and at the next restaurant, Mühle, follow the road on the left into the Kohlertal valley. Turn right at kilometer 56,4 and after another 100 meters, keep left. Below the Waldeck ruins, continue towards Teinach. Passing the power station, turn right onto the road. At the junction with the L347, you have the option of taking a detour to Teinach. This adds approximately 7 km and 50 meters of elevation gain to the route. Otherwise, turn right and continue straight through the roundabout towards... CalwThe cycle path continues along the B463 towards Kentheim. From there, the cycle path continues in the direction of... CalwAt kilometer 62,5, we turn left onto Tanneneck Street. We follow the road straight ahead until we reach the city center of [city name]. CalwAt Hermann Hesse Square, we bear slightly left and after 100 meters turn right. Then immediately turn left into the Pedestrian zone (!!! walking speed applies here!!!)After crossing the pedestrian zone, we cross the following large intersection and drive past the fire station. CalwWe continue along the Hirsau meadow path. Here we leave the Hermann Hesse town. Calw and continue on to Hirsau.

    Section 4 - From Calw to Bad Liebenzell

    The road becomes Uhlandstraße. At kilometer 67,7, you have the option to continue straight ahead to Hirsau Monastery. Otherwise, turn right here. We go under the B296 and continue along a park to the parking area. Here, there is a traffic light for crossing Liebenzeller Straße (B463). After crossing, we follow Ernstmühler-Weg and keep left at the next fork. In Ernstmühl, at kilometer 69,9, turn right and then left after crossing the railway line. We follow the cycle path for another 2,3 km until we reach the town entrance. Bad LiebenzellOn Reuchlinweg, the path descends behind the thermal baths to the L343. Here we turn left and cross the railway tracks again. Immediately afterwards, we turn right onto Regularstraße (L343a). At km 73,8, we leave Regularstraße on the right. We continue on Ulmenweg. Bad Liebenzell out and on towards Pforzheim.

    Section 5 - From Bad Liebenzell to Pforzheim

    We follow the cycle path to the Monbach valley. After another break in the Monbach valley, we continue to the left towards Unterreichenbach. At km 79,4, keep right. We follow the cycle path for 1 km along the Nagold ...and past a beautiful, unspoiled rocky landscape. At the information boards about the protected forest, continue straight ahead. After the sewage treatment plant, keep right and after a short climb, turn left. At km 81,6, turn left and go under the B463. Please stay in the designated lanes here as well! We continue following the cycle path to Dillweißenstein. The path joins the road at a bus stop with a turning area. Here, we keep left and after the turning area at the top, we turn right onto Belremstraße. At km 88,2, before the bridge, turn left and continue downhill. Caution – this section of the path is somewhat narrow in places! At km 89,6, the path joins Friedenstraße. We leave this again after 200m on the right. Along the Nagold is on the NagoldContinue on the valley cycle path to km 91,9. Here we cross Bleichstraße. Continue on Kallhardtstraße to km 92,4. Turn right and after the bridge, keep right again. Cross the park on your left and cross Jahnstraße at the underpass. At km 93, keep right at the church. Cross the bridge over the Enz river. Here the Nagold Turn right into the Enz River! After crossing the bridge, keep left. Turn right onto Leopoldstraße and continue straight uphill, following the path towards the train station. We continue straight ahead onto Bahnhofstraße and end our tour at the entrance of Pforzheim Central Station.

    On weekends between May and October, a bus takes you from Bad Wildbad Passengers and their bicycles up to the boarding point at Seewald Besenfeld (Urnagold)
