Looking up from the Teinach Valley, you'll spot the ruins of Zavelstein Castle . Perched high above, it watches over the valley and its inhabitants. From there, you have a wonderful panoramic view across the hills and valleys of the Northern Black Forest. In spring, this landscape bursts into a unique display of color when the crocuses burst from the earth.
A visit to Zavelstein, once the smallest town in Baden-Württemberg , is also worthwhile. The Zavelstein castle ruins are a cultural monument that transforms into a theatrical backdrop in the summer.
Even gourmets will find something to savor in Bad Teinach: the Michelin -starred Hotel Kronelamm pampers you with regional products from the nature park, and the unique wellness area offers a chance to relax and unwind.
Not far from there, you can also pamper yourself at the Teinach Mineral Spa . Modern indoor and outdoor wellness areas are combined here with the fresh mineral water of the Black Forest. In the cold-water pool, you can immerse yourself in 17-degree water that comes from a depth of 1000 meters.
